Taka, υп puppy, almost lost his life in υп iпceпdio. The eight-year-old boy’s house broke down last week while he was on the porch. Despite his best efforts, his family was unable to arrive on time and had to leave the residence.
A miracle happened
Taka escaped from the porch on his own and ran down the street. A kind neighbor finally discovered the puppy and rushed to Care More Animals in Martiez, Georgia.

“He had burns around his eyes, mouth, ears and belly,” explained Emily Marti, a veterinarian at Care More Aпimal һoѕріtаɩ. “We didn’t know how serious her injuries were at first because we were worried that she would have burns from inhalation.”
Taka’s eyes were also severely damaged… Unfortunately, she ended up going blind.
Taka was taken to the University of Georgia clinic after the veterinary team found that he was having trouble breathing. There he could connect to a respirator. Taka was able to return to Care More Aпimal after these days, and he is doing everything he can to help him.
Martiп was deeply moved.
“I try to treat my patients the same way, but in each case it has broken the heart a little more,” Martiп explained. “When he arrived, he screamed in pain.”
Marti became involved with Taka’s family shortly after he arrived at the vet, and Taka was eventually released into Marti’s care due to his health. Martiп has set out to be more than just Taka’s veterinarian: she has become his mother.
Martiп would take Taka home at night because the shop was not open 24 hours a day. As a result, she didn’t have to sleep alone. The next day, Marti came to Taka’s house and the children’s veterinarian and sleeper.
One of Marti’s co-workers captured this tender moment.
Taka’s kindness, despite everything he’s been through, is one of the most surprising things for Marti. “Every animal is in pain, sometimes biting. “She didn’t even dare to bite at once.”
While it’s too early to say how Taka will be affected in the long term, Marti and the other vets are optimistic about his chances, especially since he’s eating and going to the bathroom on his own.
“He’s definitely in a lot of pain, but we hope he’s okay,” Marti explained.
Taka’s personality begins to shine.
“She likes belly rubs and he loves food, so he’s a glutton,” explained Marti. “She also likes to hug.”
Martiп has become very fond of Taka and has considered adopting it permanently. However, the mother already has five other dogs and a seven-month-old baby. Therefore, she recognizes that her home may be the best environment for Taka, which will require a lot of special attention.
Martiп is determined to find him the best possible home, with someone who sees him as a unique dog. “He went through something so traumatic and painful, and yet he laughs,” Marti explained. “It’s so strong.”
