Beyond his appearance, Jυstice, the Pitbull, is a wonderful dog with a heartwarming story. Despite having suffered a difficult start in life, he has managed to overcome the obstacles and is now enjoying a life filled with love and respect at the Shelbyville/Shelby Coυпty shelter.

Discovered on the streets of Idiapa in 2018, Jυstice, then approximately two years old, had suffered serious chemical burns, it appears that he was temporarily. Miraculously, he managed to survive that abandonment and abuse. The shelter provided him with the necessary medical care, and over time, his skin began to peel off and his fur to grow back, so his skin will once again be exactly the same as it was before.
“She was very sad at first,” says veterinarian Jessica Lyпch, “but she’s come a long way. Now he has much more character and is the happiest and most playful dog.”
After receiving medical care and training for approximately 5 years, Jυstice is ready to be adopted. The demand was huge, including from people who lived outside the state and even the country. However, the shelter was only accepting applications from adopters who lived more than 100 miles away, in order to provide Jυstice with the medical support she might need.
Finally, Jυstice found home and quickly adapted to her new life. His owners constantly update the shelter’s social networks with photos and videos of him, showing how happy he is despite everything he has experienced.
Jυstice’s climb was easy due to her difficult past, but with the help of climber Lexi, who developed the special video, she managed to make significant progress. Now, Jυstice feels more and more comfortable in his home and demonstrates his trust in his children by allowing them to rub his belly.
From the beginning, the shelter has done everything possible to identify those responsible for the Jυstice Absence. Offers a $20,000 reward for training that matches the guilty party’s code. Although there are still open cases, the numerous clues have brought the shelter closer to solving this heinous crime.
