However, tragedy struck the family when Oztk passed away in February 2014. Zozo fell into deep sadness, losing his appetite and disappearing from home daily. Nobody knew where he was going.
Oztυk’s family worried a lot about Zozo. He looked for him everywhere, but he couldn’t find him. He wondered if he had gotten lost or if someone had taken him.
One day, Oztυk Zafer, son of Oztυk Ismail, went to visit his father’s tomb and saw an animal sleeping on it. As he approached, he recognized Zozo.
Zozo had walked to the cemetery every day, regardless of the weather, to visit his friend. For two years, he had mastered his ritual of loyalty and love.
The son realized how much Zozo missed his father. Even though he could speak, the animal showed his love with unequal gestures. He would lie on the grave, sniff it and sometimes even lick it.
Zozo’s story moved the entire community. This is a touching example of the loyalty and covetous love that dogs can offer to their owners.
The old master, who must have been a wonderful man, deserved the company and devotion of his dog. Zozo, in turn, had found Oztυk a home full of love and affection.
Zozo’s story reminds us of the importance of the emotional ties that are created between animals and humans. It is a reminder of dogs’ ability to love and be loyal, even in the most difficult situations.
